Return Policy

At The New Closet, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for a refund or exchange, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following criteria:

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.

  • Items must include all original tags and packaging.

  • Items purchased in a sale or clearance section may not be eligible for returns unless otherwise stated.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked as final sale

  • Underwear and swimwear (for hygiene reasons)

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our Customer Service team at thenewcloset@proton.me with your order number and reason for the return.

  2. You will receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and instructions on how to return your item.

  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging, if possible. Include all tags, accessories, and documentation.

  4. Write the RAN on the outside of the package.

  5. Ship the return package using a traceable and insured shipping method to the address provided by our Customer Service team.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact our Customer Service team, and we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund:

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

6. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color:

  1. Contact our Customer Service team at thenewcloset@proton.me to confirm the availability of the replacement item.

  2. Follow the return process outlined above.

  3. Once we receive and inspect your return, we will ship the replacement item to you at no additional cost.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact our Customer Service team at [contact email] within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a description of the issue. We will provide instructions on how to return the item for a replacement or refund.

8. Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision to cancel by contacting our Customer Service team at thenewcloset@proton.me. You will then have 14 days to return the goods to us at your expense. We will refund the cost of the goods and the standard shipping cost (if applicable) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
